Boredom and sadness

For some reason December always makes feel sad, so today was the day for my boredom and feeling sad. I really think that it's the lack of sunshine. Through the sadness and boredom, I still managed to get something done.

I embroidered 3 more placemats..6 left to do. I'm hoping I can get them done either tomorrow or Sunday morning and then put them together. I also have to finish some of my Christmas baking before Wednesday and Thursday...I'm taking some to the hairdresser and some for the staff at work. I have to do 5 chocolate bar wrappers for a staff member by Thursday. I want to sew me a new top before Christmas. Bake a cheesecake to take with us on Christmas Day. Is there going to be enough hours for me to get done?? I love pressure!!

The other thing I did tonight was a small wreath for the upstairs banister. It only took me 45 minutes to get it done from start to finish and that includes getting everything ready to go! Here's the wreath:

Folded stars and another wreath!

Tonight I finished a project that I started last weekend. I needed to buy something to give it the WOW factor. I also finished another wreath that I wanted for the downstairs banister.

I had done the folded star technique back in the 80's. I actually still have the trivet I made WAY back then!! I need to figure out more ways to use the technique!!

Something different!

Today I decided to do my Christmas baking instead of doing any other creating. I did manage to do the embroidery on 3 of the placemats, but I want to wait until they are completed before posting a picture.

I have pictures of my Cream cheese Armarula spritz cookies and my gingerbread men. My gingerbread men still need to be decorated. I want a few of them to look drunk to put in this big wine glass I got for a friend for Christmas,but I'm not sure what else to put with them...any ideas?

Napkins!!

Tonight's project was to finish the napkins for a very good friend.  She had me make her a dozen cutlery stockings and wanted matching placemats and napkins to go with them.  I finished the napkins tonight and tomorrow I need to start the placemats.  I love this little snowman!!

I also have to start my Christmas baking tomorrow...YIKES!! Where has the month gone??  Tomorrow I'm also suppose to have a client pick up 65 chocolate bar wrappers and someone is wanting me to make another 30 at least.  I love business busy!!

Today it's wreaths!!

I've decided to share a few of my wreaths that I have been making to sell. Unfortunately, they'll have to wait until next year. This is most of them. The first one is mine..I love this one. I found everything for it in Buffalo, before we headed to Disney World. I was in a Minnie Mouse state of mind. I do have a few more that are going to have to wait before I post the pictures.

It's been a LONG time

I really need to get better at blogging. Journals and such has never been my strong suit but I'm really trying to change all this!M

Anyway I have decided that what I'm going to instead of writing a bunch of things is start to post my creations..and lately, I have a lot of creations!! So today I'm going to start with my chocolate bar wrappers!! I've seen them on Pinterest and I decided to tweak them a bit.
